Welcome to the Fargo Central High School Class of 1964's Homepage
We have set
up this site in order to stimulate excitement towards our 45th Reunion and to
just basically stay in touch with one another.
The talk about a reunion started at a reception for Bob and Diane (Johnson)
Heller's son, Peter, who had returned from a 5 year tour of Army duty in
Afghanistan. (Thank you Peter!). Jill Johnston Wilkey, Jeff Landa, Jeanne
Monteith Lindsay and I were talking and reminiscing about all our high school
days and got carried away. Why not another reunion? Would it take away from a
50th reunion? Should it be a one night or a two night event? Fargo or Detroit
Lakes for a location? Who would want to be on the reunion committee? Band or
no band? Which is the best band? Later that weekend I stopped and visited with
Patty Arneson Corwin and she added more ideas and suggested that Gwen Kelm
Lunde be contacted as she did such a great job on our 40th Reunion. I called
Gwen and she had access to the data base via Fargo Central High School Alumni
Association. Word traveled fast that we were going to have a reunion so Jackie
Hegge Goodkin and Judy Landray Benson asked to be on the committee. So we had
ideas and people willing to move them into action. Patty did research into
reunion sites and recommended the Fargo Country Club which we reserved for
July 11. Our ideas have distilled into:
